Yes, fragrance oils specifically designed for candles are synthetic, but the ones we use are non-toxic and safer than some essential oils! Some essential oils are toxic when burned. I choose only the top, high quality non-toxic, phthalate free fragrances whether they're natural essential oils or synthetic fragrance oils.

CANDLE CARE:
• Always trim your wick to 1/4" before lighting each time to avoid any soot or high flames.
• Burn each candle long enough that the wax pool reaches the edge of the jar to avoid tunneling.
• Burn the candle for no more than 4 hours at time.
• DO NOT burn when there is less than 1/2" of wax remaining.
• Keep candles aways from fans, open windows, hot surfaces, children, and pets.
• NEVER LEAVE UNATTENDED!
